God Answers Prayer!

I'm the Facilities Manager of my class (i.e. I'm the one who assigns people or does cleaning up the classroom, fans, tables, dustbin etc.) I also have to make sure all lights, fans, computers and LCD projectors are switched off. Come every Monday, during IRS time, when mentees meet their mentors, people from other classes use our class computers. It always happens that they never switch them off after use. Well, 4 days ago, I decided to commit my problems to God, and I committed this problem to God too (meaning I trusted in Him to take care of this problem). Guess what? When I came back, none of the mentees were in my classroom, instead their mentor was seeing them outside my classroom! It is comforting and wonderful to know that G.A.P. God answers Prayer!

On Tuesday, I had stayed back for CCA, up till around 5. It had been raining quite heavily, causing Xinying to stay and wait for the rain to stop. She saw me and asked whether I had an umbrella, so I agreed to lend her mine. I then asked God, "God, please make the rain stop so that she and others can go home safely." By the time I had walked to my bag from the other side of the school, it had stopped raining!
Again, G.A.P. :)

Satan may send storms of fear and doubt, but remember to walk in faith and trust in the Lord for all your needs. He is your Lord and Saviour. Being Jesus' soldier is a lot better and brings more joy!

Romans 7:14-25
We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature.For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. 
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord! 
So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law, but in the sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.

Psalm 139:1-19

O LORD , you have searched me 
and you know me. 
You know when I sit and when I rise; 
you perceive my thoughts from afar. 
You discern my going out and my lying down; 
you are familiar with all my ways.
